Stylishly designed and bright, open-plan apartments

HOOM Home & Hotel Järfälla is located on the Veddesta industrial park, situated to the north west of Stockholm.

The entrance and car park are to be found at the front of the hotel. To the rear lies forest which can also be seen from the hotel lobby and fitness centre.

Behind the building’s anthracite-grey facade and large windows, there are 153 smart and well-planned apartments.

Each apartment is 25 square meters and is well designed to provide ample space for the preparation of food, recreation and socialising. Each apartment benefits from the ingress of daylight through floor to ceiling glazing and a glass balcony door leading out on to the apartment’s three-square meter balcony.

The entire hotel has a modern Scandinavian design, benefitting from beautiful shades and hues. This is reflected in the fittings and proprietary materials used throughout. The architect for the project is Andreas Martin-Löf, who among other accolades, won the Architect of The Year Award for 2014. He has previously developed buildings of cultural significance and is counted as an innovator in the field of modern architecture.

Concept

Varied options and comfort in smart and flexible accommodation

To cope with staying away from home for longer periods, a fair degree of comfort in pleasant surroundings are a prerequisite. It should be a pleasure to get “home”. We have a fitness centre at the hotel to help you maintain your regular fitness programme, even though you are away from home. If your working day has been particularly intensive, you’ll be able to look forward to a relaxing steam bath in the hotel sauna.

Living in your own apartment also gives you the option to do as you please. You can invite friends, prepare your own meals in your own kitchen and even do your own washing in the hotel’s laundry room, if you wish. We are firmly convinced that companies function most effectively when their employees are happy. Thus, as an employer, we provide you with the opportunity to choose a very favourable accommodation facility for your colleagues when they are required to work away from home.

We offer free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. This makes it easy for you to keep in touch with family and friends as well as taking care of your business. If you wish, you can work from “home” in your own apartment. You can have meetings with customers in one of the hotel meeting rooms and even invite them for meals in your own apartment.

HOOM Home & Hotel is like a home from home, with stylish and business accommodation to rest and relax in, throughout the period during which you are working away from home. Here you’ll find comfort, harmony and balance in flexible accommodation with many excellent qualities.

We’ve paid particular attention to the kitchens in our apartments. It’s important for us that you are able to retain your routines and dietary norms, even when you are away from home for several days at a time. Our kitchens are generously proportioned with good-sized refrigerators and freezers, large cookers and proper ovens, meaning you can prepare your own meals and continue to eat the food of your choice, even though you are staying in a hotel. So if you like, you can avoid ready-cooked dinners and live both healthily and inexpensively.

Sometimes your job takes you away from home for a while. The company gets an assignment in Stockholm and you need to be there on the spot for a few days, two to three weeks or even several months at a time. Regardless of which it turns out to be, it’ll be too long to stay in a hotel and too short a time for you to move here.

Hotel

At HOOM Home & Hotel, individuals who are visiting Stockholm are welcome to make reservations, exactly as they would for a traditional hotel.

The main advantage with making a booking at HOOM Home & Hotel is that you have access to your own apartment with a modern and functional kitchen, tiled bathroom with shower, extra beds in the bed sofa and a lovely comfortable bed – all this instead of just a traditional hotel room. Stay overnight, over the weekend or for a week. With us, you’ll find a tasteful, smart and practical alternative to traditional hotels.

Apartments

The apartments are 25 square meters, comprising 1 room and a kitchen. The material standard is high.

The kitchen is the heart of every apartment, generously and cleverly planned. All of our apartments has kitchens appliances and are equipped with:

The kitchen area and living room are furnished in a modern Scandinavian style, featuring pastel colours. There is a bed sofa to provide extra beds and a sleeping alcove with space for either a Queen size bed or twin beds. Beneath the bed, there are box drawers to provide a practical storage solution. Every apartment has its own balcony, measuring 3 square meters. The technical standard is high.

Service

Your own apartment, with all the conveniences of a hotel

With us at HOOM Home & Hotel, you’ll always have access to personal service from the reception, which is open around-the-clock. You can use the computer and printer located in the lobby business centre or just sit back and sun yourself in the light from the large panoramic lobby windows, whilst relaxing with a drink and a few snacks. If you’re coming by car, there are 60 parking spaces to choose from directly in front of the hotel. The reception is manned 24 hours a day. Here there is to be found: Luggage room, snacks and soft drinks.

Meeting room

You can even hold a meeting during your stay, in your own apartment if you wish or alternatively in the hotel meeting room, which can accommodate up to 12 persons.

Fitnesscenter

When staying with us, you can keep up with your training routines and use the fitness centre on the first floor, as often as you like. You have free entry to a well-equipped training facility where you can train while enjoying a pleasant view. After your session, you can relax and treat yourself to a shower and sauna.
