Sjöberg, Sollentuna
There have been settlements and dwellings in Sjöberg since ancient times, and Fornborgen in Sjöberg has been dated back to around 400-550 AD. During the Viking period in around 800 to 1100 AD, an important trade run passed along nearby Edsviken and Lake Norrviken, en route to towns on the shores of Lake Mälaren and on to Uppsala. During the 1930s, the area was a much-appreciated chalet district, where middle class families could spend their leisure time among the forests and meadows.
